North American Vasa

The North American Vasa Festival of Races is an annual tradition in Traverse City, Michigan. The 47^th Annual North American Vasa will take place February 11-12, 2023 with two full days of freestyle and classic cross-country skiing, a fat bike race and a snowshoe race.

The Vasa is held the second weekend in February at Timber Ridge Resort. Located next to the Vasa Pathway, the event offers a mix of skiing events to challenge skiers of all abilities. Choose from 6, 10, and 27-kilometer races or simply head out for a fun winter tour!

Part of the Short’s Brewing Fat Bike Series

The North American Vasa Fat Bike Race is the third event in the 5-race Short’s Brewing Fat Bike Series. Racers can choose from a 17km Short’s course or the 35km Long race to pick up points in the 2023 SBFBS standings.
