Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

Our second tool school session held on Saturday, June 12 taught all who attended the importance of road side repair.  Carrying the proper tools in your seat bag as well as having the knowledge to use them properly was discussed.  How to fix your flat tire while on the road and how to avoid a flat all together made all attendees feel more confident.  Travis also taught how to fix your broken chain so riders can get home.  Performing a proper pre-ride safety check gave riders the basics on how to make sure they will not develop any problems down the road.  Join us next Saturday for session 3 which will cover the basics of wheel and tire dynamics.
